How much does it cost to play?
Bays are $50 per hour, with 25% off on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The price is per bay, not per person, so a group can split it. Memberships start at $75 per month.
Can I book a bay the same day?
Yes. Same-day bookings are available online whenever a slot is open. Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, because your session ends at the scheduled time either way.
How long does 18 holes take?
One player usually finishes 18 holes in about an hour with reduced putting. Two players take roughly 90 minutes.
Can I bring my own clubs?
Yes, as long as they are clean. Dirt affects how the launch monitor reads your shot. Rental sets are $10 if you need them.
Are kids allowed?
Yes, Grip It is family friendly. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult over 18. You must be 21 with ID to buy alcohol.
What is the cancellation policy?
A credit card holds the reservation. Cancel more than 24 hours ahead for no charge. No-shows or cancellations inside 24 hours are charged $40. Bookings of 2 hours or more require a deposit.
Is there an indoor golf simulator near Winston-Salem?
Yes. Grip It is in Bermuda Run, just off I-40 at exit 180, about 20 minutes from downtown Winston-Salem and minutes from Clemmons, Advance, Lewisville, and Mocksville.
How many people can play in one bay?
Up to six people share a bay comfortably. The price is per bay, not per person, and each bay has couch seating and a table.
Do I need to know how to golf?
No. The simulators have closest-to-the-pin and skills games that first-timers can win, rental clubs are $10, and the staff will get you set up.
Do you serve food?
No kitchen, but food from the neighboring restaurants in Kinderton is welcome at your table. The bar handles the drinks.
